Generally, a brief meeting or phone conversation about a piece is sufficient for me to give an estimate of cost.  Once a cost is agreed, a short written agreement (see sample) is provided which lists materials, sizes, etc.   When the client decides to move forward, detailed ideas are exchanged towards final design.  Before actual manufacture, a detailed, 3D scale rendering is provided for approval.   

Quality

I love what I do and it shows in the work.  They say "time is money" but for me "quality is money" therefore I will never compromise quality.  I routinely use traditional joinery including mortise and tenon, and dove tail joints. These old time craftsman joints stand the test of time.  I also hand select every piece of wood used in my pieces, and use the finest hardware.     

Deposit 

15% deposit will secure placement  on my schedule.  An additional 35% payment is requested at the start of the project and the balance is due upon completion prior to delivery.

Lead Time

I design and build one project at a time.  Lead-time, or order placement to completion, can range from 4 weeks to 3 months. Please contact me for the current lead-time.  I may have several projects in the negotiation stage and work on a first come, first serve basis.  If I quote a lead-time and receive another client's deposit first, you will be notified of any changes and have the option of a full refund. 

Shipping

Delivery is included within the Atlanta metropolitan area.  Shipping may be arranged outside the area by common carrier from my studio in Canton, Ga.  Shipments are packaged with care and are fully insured.  Lift gates are available for large items.   Curbside and indoor delivery are available in most areas.   "Curbside delivery" delivers your order to the curb in front of your house.  "Inside delivery" will deliver your order to the inside of your house and dispose of all crating material.  Upon receipt of your order, I will promptly get back to you with a shipping cost.
